These two lovebirds. Feat. on @polkadotbride in a Wattle Inspired Vow Renewal.
Shot amongst the towering greenery of @stonebarn_lodge And curated by the ever wonderful @duoeventscreativestudio this love story took a delicious take with @thetapasman delights set on vintage tables with candlesticks and mustard and russet toned elements. After a feast one must venture off in one hell of a car and @mrmustanghire‘a delightful blue sky ‘stang ticked all the boxes for Steve as a getaway car.

{COMFORT} There is so much comfort* in snuggling a fuzzy, newborn baby in the crook of your shoulder, in warm cups of tea (preferably in bed with a good book) and cozy blankets wrapped around you while you sit by a crackling fire sharing your pains and joys with loved ones. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While our fire is a couple of months away from being installed (ahem, I really need to confirm my hearth tile selection - oops!) we'll be seeking comfort in the warmth of food and blankets. Uggs required in Margaret River. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Little William loves the comfort of his Mum and Dad and if he's not nestled in the crook of their arms, he's being lovingly smothered in kisses by his older sister. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

{POCKETS} This week has been like a pocket full of birthdays. I haven't been the best at keeping up with them this time round, but I did manage to finally call my Dad after dinner and wish him a happy birthday.
He's on the east coast competing in the Surf Life Saving Australia competition so hugs will be later on in April (along with presents) and big kisses from my little guy. Funny. After visiting with his Pop Pop Ray always wants to wander around with his hands in in pockets. One day soon I'll print it out and frame it, my son and my Dad walking the path I wandered down every time I went to primary school and the park to play.

Shovel-face. Pretty much sums up me and my social media activity of late 🙈
Life is split all over the place right now and soon we get the keys to our house and finish off a few things (you know by end of April) my brain, work, family and life will all be in one place. Grateful for all of the journey, but that doesn't make it less hard.
More little squares of gorgeousness, cuteness and joy are coming. Maybe tears too x

{HYDRATE} Its pretty warm this weekend in WA so stay hydrated.
I'm kicking off my year with a beach wedding in Yallingup and I feel it's going to be all kinds of gorgeous. I also feel I'll want to run into the ocean mid ceremony to cool off but I'll try to be professional and not do that 😜

Light testing with this guy and the cookie straight after work so of course he's clad in his hi vis and hence all the photos have been converted to black and white (my fave anyways!) and I love them!

Swinging high after sending off this sun and sand filled gallery to Becca and her gorgeous family.
What a way to spend a morning, running (seriously though, I mean toddlers 😭) through the sand, splashing in the water and attempting to move some rocks at Castle Rock in Dunsborough. Love these relaxed sessions in the sunshine, when's the last time you got in the frame and just had fun with your family?

Leaping into the weekend! I've just wrapped a gorgeous family shoot at Dunsborough and now off to cut back and burn the last bits at our block before fire season hits. I'm also at our house early, which means I'm walking through oohing and ahhhing over newly gyprock clad walls with just the birds chirping and a tractor chugging away in the distance. I can't wait to be in!

He pushes his boundaries and my buttons on a regular occasion and yet we both find joy in the simple things and this photo taken after a long day at our block clearing for #margaretriver's bushfire season is one of those simple things that I will cherish forever. •
When we've painted the walls in our new place one of the first things I'm going to do is put up some framed photographs. 18+ months moving from house to house makes me yearn to see those happy faces immortalised in my home. Memories that I love that take me right back to that day, that place with those feels. (The feels after this day? It was aches, I'll be honest 😆 but my heart was full) •
